Smoking Cessation

  • Daily cigarette smoking
  • Strong cravings or withdrawal symptoms
  • Multiple attempts to quit without long-term success
  • Smoking may affect your health, energy, or quality of life

At FutureSearch Trials, Our Dallas research site conducts smoking cessation clinical trials for adults who smoke cigarettes daily and would like to explore research options related to quitting.

Quitting cigarettes can be challenging, especially for people who have smoked regularly for years. To qualify for our quit-smoking research study, participants must be current daily smokers, typically smoking 10 or more cigarettes per day, and must have smoked regularly for at least 12 consecutive months. Additional health, medication, and lifestyle criteria will be reviewed during the screening process.

If you’re interested in joining a paid clinical trial for smokers who recently quit or are motivated to quit, please complete the form above or call our team. Qualified participants may receive study-related care at no cost and compensation for time and travel.

What Is Cigarette Dependence?

Cigarette dependence develops when the body adapts to regular nicotine exposure, making it difficult to quit without experiencing withdrawals. These symptoms can include:

  • Strong cravings
  • Irritability or restlessness
  • Trouble concentrating
  • Increased stress
  • Difficulty sleeping

Many adults try multiple times to quit smoking before finding a method that works for them. Nicotine dependence can affect your lungs, heart, and overall health; and it may also impact your mood, daily functioning, and long-term wellness.

At FutureSearch Trials, our clinical research studies for smokers are conducted by trained medical professionals who monitor safety and guide participants throughout the process.
