Menstrual Migraine

  • Pulsating or throbbing pain
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Headaches that appear consistently with your menstrual cycle
  • Sensitivity to light

At FutureSearch Trials, we conduct research studies for the treatment of Menstrual Migraine.

Do you experience debilitating headaches around your menstrual cycle? Menstrual migraines are intense headaches triggered by hormonal changes during a woman’s cycle, often occurring just before or during menstruation.

If you are at least 18 and regularly experience migraines around your menstrual cycle, you may qualify for a research study.

What is a Menstrual Migraine?

Menstrual Migraine is a type of migraine triggered by hormonal changes, particularly the drop in estrogen that occurs just before a woman’s period. These migraines can be more intense and longer-lasting than other types, often accompanied by nausea, light sensitivity, and severe pain. Managing menstrual migraines can be challenging and may interfere with daily life. If you’re experiencing menstrual migraines, we encourage you to explore our study options and find the support you need.
