At FutureSearch Trials, we conduct research studies on the treatment of Alzheimer’s Dementia.

While forgetfulness is common and a normal part of aging, symptoms of Alzheimer’s dementia are more serious and worsen much faster. Recognizing these changes early is important for accessing care and exploring management options.

You or someone you care for may be eligible to participate if the individual with Alzheimer’s is between 55 and 85 years of age, has been diagnosed with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease, and has a care partner who is also willing to participate. The care partner must consent to be involved and will accompany the participant to study visits.

What is Alzheimer’s Dementia?

Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia that affects over 55 million people worldwide. Alzheimer’s dementia progressively impairs memory, thinking, and the ability to carry out daily activities. Memory loss is one of the most common early signs and often includes forgetting important dates or repeatedly asking for the same information. Other symptoms include difficulty with problem-solving or completing familiar tasks, trouble following a conversation, and withdrawal from work or social activities.
